Are you Census Date-ready?
The census date is one of the most crucial administrative dates in the academic year so it is essential that you are informed and prepared.
Friday 5 April is the census date for Semester 1, 2024.
This is your last chance to drop courses without academic or financial penalty and complete fee-related tasks such as paying upfront or submitting Commonwealth Assistance Forms. For more information regarding census dates, please visit the census date website.
How do I drop a course?
Courses dropped on or before census date (11:59pm AEDT Friday 5 April, 2024) will not appear on your academic transcript, will not affect your Grade Point Average (GPA) and you won't be liable for the course fees. Visit swapping or dropping courses for further information.
You can drop courses on ISIS via the pathway: NavBar > Menu > ISIS > Enrolment > Enrolment
Need help?
After the census date, if you drop a course it will appear on your academic record, you'll receive a grade and remain liable for the course fees. See census dates for more information.
In exceptional circumstances, you may be eligible for late withdrawal. Please note difficulties with course content or academic workloads are not grounds for late withdrawal.
