New students must complete enrolment before the applicable deadline to self-enrol on ANUHub, as stipulated on the University Calendar or course page on Programs & Courses.
Before you start
- Eligible domestic students must ensure that they have supplied their tax file number (TFN) and Unique Student Identifier (USI) to request Commonwealth Assistance (HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP and SA-HELP).
- International students on a student visa are not permitted to study online, in accordance with Australian Government legislation.
- International students on a non-student visa must supply a copy of their visa to policy.regs@anu.edu.au.
Step 1 - Choose courses
You will need to select the courses you'd like to enrol in.
Use the Programs & Courses search to find your program page. This will provide details on the courses you will need to complete to meet your degree requirements. You need to note the class number of your choices to enrol on ANUHub.

Step 2 - Enrol in ANUHub
Once you have identified the courses you want to enrol in:
Log in to ANUHub
Follow the prompts to complete the ANUHub Task Wizard
Click the Enrolment tile and follow the prompts to add each course.
Step 3 - Next steps
View your teaching and learning materials
Each course you enrol in will have a separate page on Canvas with your teaching and learning materials, e.g. lecture notes and recordings, discussion forums, convenor announcements, assessment details and submission. Course pages will be available approximately 2 weeks before teaching commences.Arrange payment for your fees
Your course and Student Services and Amenities fees will be invoiced in ANUHub during the first two weeks of the semester or session. A notification will be sent to your ANU student email once your invoice has been made available.Get your ANU student card
