Swapping or dropping a course

Most variations to your enrolment can be made using ANUHub. Students seeking advice on how to add a course should refer to the Enrolment page for further advice.

Drop a course

Please note: dropping a course may carry academic or financial penalties depending on the time of the Semester it is dropped. Please review the University Calendar to ensure you are abiding by the relevant deadlines. 

Swap a course

If you wish to swap a course you can do so through your ANUHub account prior to the relevant census date/s through the following pathway:

NavBar (compass icon) > Menu > ANUHub > Enrolment > Enrolment > select the Semester or Session > select 'Swap' beside the relevant course

If you are unable to swap a course through ANUHub you may complete an Application for Enrolment Change (Coursework).

Deadlines

Courses can be added or swapped via your ANUHub account up to the Monday of the second week of each semester. Check the Programs and Courses webpage for non-standard session enrolment deadlines (Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring).

Additions after this deadline may be permitted. To apply to add or swap a course after the relevant deadlines you may complete an Application for Enrolment Change (Coursework).

No courses can be added after the relevant semester or course census date. Courses cannot be dropped after the commencement of the relevant semester examination period.
