The Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) is an official document that explains your qualification, studies, ANU and the Australian higher education system. It helps employers, education providers and other organisations understand Australian qualifications.
Your AHEGS can also provide evidence that your program was conducted and examined in English.

Access your electronic AHEGS
If your qualification was conferred in July 2010 or later, an electronic AHEGS was issued to you through My eQuals.
If you are conferring soon, your electronic AHEGS will be issued shortly after your qualification is formally awarded.
You can access, download and securely share your electronic AHEGS through My eQuals. If you have lost access to your existing documents, ANU Student Hubs can help re-link them to a personal email address.

Purchase a physical AHEGS
You can purchase a physical AHEGS if your qualification was conferred in December 2009 or later.
If you already have an electronic AHEGS through My eQuals, check whether this meets your needs before purchasing a physical copy.
Before you order
AHEGS are only available for ANU qualifications conferred in December 2009 or later.
Conferred in July 2010 or later
An electronic AHEGS was issued to you through My eQuals. You can access and share your existing document without purchasing another copy.
If you specifically need a physical AHEGS, you can purchase one using the instructions below.
Conferred between December 2009 and June 2010
You were originally issued a physical AHEGS. You can purchase an additional physical copy if required.
Conferred before December 2009
An AHEGS is not available for your qualification. You may wish to purchase an Academic Transcript instead.
Not yet conferred
You must wait until your qualification has been formally awarded before an AHEGS can be issued.

How to order a physical AHEGS
- Complete the Academic Transcript or AHEGS request form.
- Email the completed form to student@anu.edu.au.
- Attach a colour copy of government-issued photo identification.
The form includes document and delivery charges. You can choose to collect your AHEGS in person or have it sent by domestic or international express postage.
Your identification document will be used to verify your identity and locate your student record, then deleted once these checks are complete.
After you submit your request
ANU Student Hubs will review your request and email you with the confirmed total cost and a secure online payment link.
Once payment is received, your physical AHEGS will generally be prepared within 5 business days. If you select postage, delivery time is additional.
We will email you when your order has been processed and provide postage tracking details where applicable.
