ANU Foundation USA

ANU has a strong connection to the USA through a community of alumni and friends living and working across the country. The ANU Foundation USA plays an important role in keeping our global community connected.

The mission of the ANU Foundation USA is to promote excellence in education and research at the Australian National University, including the exchange of knowledge, faculty and students between Australia and North America.

Our priorities

The ANU Foundation USA Board works closely with ANU to understand the University's priorities and identify how the Foundation can support them. Currently, the Foundation is focused on supporting a life changing student experience, transformative research, and equitable access to an ANU education. In particular, the Foundation looks for ways to support diversity, equity and inclusion at ANU. That is why our focus is on the Kambri Scholars Program, which supports the next generation of Indigenous scholars to come to ANU and go on to enrich their communities and give back to Country.

How to give

The Foundation is seeking support for scholarships, ground-breaking research, enhanced student experiences and awards. This is an opportunity for you to truly make a difference in research and to the lives of students at one of the world's leading universities.

By giving an unrestricted gift to the ANU Foundation USA, you allow the Board to allocate funds to the areas of greatest need.

If you would like to give to a particular area or fund, you can specifically direct your support when making a donation.

Giving through the ANU Foundation USA ensures donations made from the USA are tax deductible. One hundred per cent of any donation made goes to the actual fund that is being supported and not toward any administration fees.

Matching gifts increase your overall contribution to ANU. To find out if you work for a matching gift employer, contact your HR department for more information.

Make your gift online today by visiting the donation portal, or you can make your payment by personal cheque - cheques should be mailed to:
