Helen Zheng is a global policy and technology strategist working at the intersection of geopolitics, innovation and venture philanthropy.
She is Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Research and Projects at Schmidt Futures, where she focuses on emerging technology and global policy initiatives. She is also Co-founder of Intrigue Media, a platform delivering expert analysis on geopolitics, technology and business to a global audience.
Helen previously worked as an Australian diplomat, including postings in Tel Aviv and Hong Kong, and contributed to international trade negotiations. She later joined Google, where she worked on global content policy issues, including information integrity and online harms. A Fulbright Scholar and graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School, she has been recognised as one of the 40 Under 40 Most Influential Asian Australians.
