FYE Workshop: Leadership and Influence
Please note this event is only for FYE students who are already registered for the FYE program. If you are interested in joining FYE in Semester 2, please email student.life@anu.edu.au
For this workshop, FYE has the opportunity to join the Leadership and Influence class facilitated by Dr Chris Browne. There will be a short presentation from each student of this course, who are each working towards a particular individual project for change.
FYE students will get to hear about each student's project, and learn what their process has been so far in developing an idea into real change! There'll be time for questions and discussion, and this is a great chance to see what later-year ANU courses can be like!
Some of the topics the Leadership and Influence class are working on:
- gender-equity in STEM
- patient care in hospitals
- working with migrant communitiies
- employability for uni students
- social justice
