Worm Farming Basics 101

Are you ready to embark on a journey into the fascinating world of worm farming? In partnership with SEE Change, we're delighted to invite you to our worm farming workshop. Learn about sustainably regenerating food waste by working with worms!

No prior experience is required. We'll start with a look at how worm farming is climate action - helping to capture carbon and prevent emissions.

Then we'll look at the worm farm basics, what you can feed worms, how to keep a worm farm healthy and more.

You'll get to see a fully operational worm farm in action. You'll get up close and personal with the worms, learning how to care for these incredible creatures and how they transform organic waste into nutrient-rich compost.

But that's not all - we'll also dive into the technical nitty-gritties of worm farming. Our expert guides will share insights into the ideal conditions for worm farming, how to troubleshoot common issues and tips for maximising your farm's efficiency and output.

And because no event is complete without some delicious treats, we've teamed up with the Food Co-Op to offer a selection of super yummy delights for all our attendees.

Secure your spot at our worm farming workshop and get ready to be part of a greener future at ANU.

Free for all ANU staff and students.
