Thrive Kitchen Garden Workshop: Saving and Planting Seeds
Learn about the magic of seeds and how to save and plant common seeds, so you can grow an abundance of herbs and vegetables
Seeds are the source of all our food and are how most plants start and end their lives. When you know how to work with seeds to produce plants you can grow interesting, delicious, and exciting herbs and vegetables cheaply and abundantly.
There's only a few tips and tricks to know to get you saving and planting seeds. And you don't need a big garden to grow - many herbs and vegetables can be grown in pots or small spaces. You don't have to have a green thumb to be a gardener, join with us and learn how to grow thriving plants!
In this workshop we will learn about how to save seeds from common herbs and vegetables, how to store seeds safely and how to plant them and look after baby seedlings. If you'd like to, you can take your pot of seeds home to grow on a windowsill or balcony or you can keep it at the kitchen garden and we can look after it together.
