Gardening for Mental Health

Join ANU Thrive and the Canberra Environment Centre for Mental Health Month.

During Mental Health Week, ANU Thrive and the Canberra Environment Centre are running Gardening for Mental Health at the Acton Community Garden. Come along to learn about some of the health benefits of gardening. We'll be pulling out weeds, composting, and mulching. Participants will get to take home their own potted seeds.

  • Both experienced and new gardeners are encouraged to attend!
  • Please wear enclosed shoes and sturdy clothes for gardening. If you have your own gardening gloves please bring them!
  • Please arrive at Marie Ground floor at 11.30 to walk over to the Canberra Environment Centre. Alternatively, if you are unable to walk, you can meet us at the Canberra Environment Centre at 12pm. The address is below.
