About this event
ANU Thrive and ANU Cooking club bring to you as a part of the Multicultural participation grant from the ACT Government "Cooking workshops around the world"!
Come and learn about different cuisines from various cultures, and learn more about their food practices and cooking tricks. Cooking is an essential life skill that can be learnt at any stage in life. Whether you're just embarking on cooking for yourself or a young adult transforming into a budding chef, we'll teach you how to cook with confidence.
The class is entirely hands on and taught in small groups, so you develop and practice with guidance from our expert chefs and produce your own meals that you can share with your family and friends. This class is suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten intolerance. Dietary preferences will be catered for. Send an email to student.wellbeing@anu.edu.au for more information.
The Australian National University is dedicated to creating a COVID-safe community. Whilst every effort will be made to run Semester 2 orientation services and activities in-person, this is dependent upon the evolving COVID-19 situation. Should the ANU come under greater restrictions, please be prepared for online engagement. We are working hard to prepare such engagement options ahead of time to ensure a smooth transition, and the best possible experience for all students.
