Cooking and Conversations: Japanese sandwiches (konbini Sando)
Join ANU Thrive for a cooking class that gives you the skills, confidence and recourses necessary to cook for yourself.
During this cooking class you will learn how to cook Konbini Sando which are Japanese sandwiches. Together with your peers you will be taught the basics of food preparation and cooking, with support from ANU staff. Once the meal you will be able to sit and eat together with your peers to celebrate tasty success.
To help you get to know your peers we will provide a menu of questions will be provided during eating time. The menu will contain fun conversational topics and questions which will help spark conversations, or you can go off topic and talk about whatever feels appropriate.

By participating in this event you will have the opportunity to connect with others, receive a free meal and be gifted a goodie bag at the end which includes a free cook book and more!
This event is free for ANU students. ANU Thrive staff will provide all necessary equipment, but you will need to wear covered shoes. You can also bring a lunch box to take home any leftover food.
