Each year the Research School of Earth Sciences may offer a prize known as the W B Clarke Second Year Prize. The objective/s of the prize are to recognise an EMSC second year student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
Funding for this prize has been provided in commemoration of the pioneer geological work carried out in Australia by the Reverend W B Clarke.
