How to Register

New Students

Students must be enrolled at the Australian National University (ANU) before registering with Accessibility for case management support, which includes creating an Education Access Plan (EAP). The EAP outlines the adjustments ANU will make to support students with a disability, long or short-term condition, and carers to thrive in their academic life. We also support EAPs for Elite Athletes.

We are a small team so register with us as soon as possible to ensure you have timely support for your studies and exams.

Registration Process

  1. Create a Student Access Portal account
  2. Submit the Registration Form through the Access Portal
  3. Attend an appointment with the Accessibility Case Manager to discuss your support needs

For step-by-step instructions on how to register, please follow this guide: Registration Process for Current ANU Students. On completion of your registration, you will be offered an appointment with our Advisor to discuss your support needs.

If you have trouble registering, please get in touch with Accessibility.

Important: Once you have registered for a Student Access Portal Account, you need to verify your student email address. Accessibility is unable to assist you further until you have completed this step. Unfortunately, students can miss this step, which causes delays in getting support.

Supporting Documentation

Prepare your current medical documentation outlining your diagnosis, impact on studies and recommendations for reasonable adjustments. Information on the required medical documentation is outlined on this page: Medical Documentation.
