Capture the Flag 2024

Presented by they ASD-ANU Co-Lab

Time travel with ASD - this year's Capture the Flag (CTF) is open to all Australian students with curious and creative minds.

24 hours of fun Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges and puzzles in the ASD CTF competition.

Test your problem-solving skills by solving challenges created by staff from the Australian Signals Directorate. Just like careers at ASD, the topics are varied and include:

  • Cryptography
  • Languages
  • Programming
  • Open Source Intelligence
  • Computer Security
  • Puzzles
  • And more!

New to CTFs? No problem! No previous skills are required, you can pick them up along the way.

This competition is a great way to learn about the work and interests of ASD and win great prizes, too! You can play online- all you need is an internet connection.

To play, you will need to register your team (up to 6 people). Registration will be made available soon.

You must use an email address ending with 'edu.au' .

Are you an Australian Citizen? Do you live in Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth?

Students in Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth who are Australian citizens and 18+ years of age, are invited to join us to play in-person at a host location (in-person registration links will be provided for each location below soon).

  • Canberra
  • Brisbane
