Sasha (Alexander) Mikheyev is a Russian-American-Australian evolutionary biologist. He is a professor in the Research School of Biology, and Associate Dean (International) for the College of Science and Medicine. His research interests are diverse, with a focus on understanding how pathogens emerge and evolve. Professor Mikheyev joined ANU in 2017, following previous research positions in Japan and the United States.
