Consent to the Disclosure of Personal Information Process

The University will never release any of your personal information without your written consent. What constitutes personal information (as per the University's privacy policy) is 'information or an opinion about an individual who is identified, or who can reasonably be identified, from the information, whether the information or opinion is true or recorded in a material form, and includes sensitive information'.

If, for whatever reason, the university intends to release personal information (examples of common circumstances are outlined in section 22 of the privacy policy), it will not be done without your consent. This involves filling in a Consent for the Disclosure of Personal Information Form (under Resources). If you have previously given consent to the University to release your personal information, you can revoke this consent by contacting Student Central.
