What is Peer Writing?
Peer Writing is a student-led study advice service available to all students at ANU.
Trained Peer Writers provide academic writing support and study skills advice to the diverse cohort of students from across the University. Peer Writers are selected for their excellent academic record, writing skills, and leadership qualities.
A Peer Writer will help you to go over your writing and provide guidance on how to make it clearer, more concise, and structured in a way that supports your argument or key message.
If you are confused about assignment requirements, a Peer Writer can help you to break down the question and get started on your work.

Service delivery weeks may vary during each semester depending on funding, please check our Wattle site or visit our desk at Chifley for regular updates. Further questions about Peer Writers can be sent to Dr. Zihan Yin.

For Zoom drop ins, just click on the link in our Wattle site. No need to make an appointment. Most drop-ins go for 10 to 15 minutes. We operate on a first come, first served basis.
Have a piece of writing, a draft structure, or a question about some aspect of your work to share with the Peer Writer. We can also help with referencing, time management, finding resources, taking notes, and study and exam techniques.
