ANU alumni and friends at the Art Gallery of New South Wales
Over 100 Sydney based alumni, friends and supporters attended a special Vice-Chancellor’s reception and private viewing of Afghanistan, Hidden Treasures from the National Museum, Kabul at the Art Gallery of New South Wales on Thursday 13 March. The Vice-Chancellor informed guests about the latest ANU news and recognised the contribution of friends to the University.
Keynote speaker, co-host and recent joint recipient of the 2014 Alumnus of the Year Award, Gallery Director, Dr Michael Brand (BA (Asian Studies) (Hons) '80) spoke about his experience as an ANU graduate and updated guests on exciting development plans for the Gallery.
