School of Engineering General Fund

The School of Engineering (SOEN) General Fund supports the School's highest priorities. Our current priority is to ensure greater diversity among those who practice engineering by providing financial support to students from groups currently underrepresented in this area of study, such as women and students who have experienced disadvantage.

All undergraduate students study 'Systems Engineering', an interdisciplinary approach that prepares students to design, analyse, and manage the complex systems that are prevalent in our society. This inclusive and 'whole' system approach to education reflects our goal for greater diversity. Your support allows us to continue to nurture diverse points of view required in an innovative environment, and produce more robust solutions that better serve the whole of society.

Find out more about the people at SOEN who are making the possible more probable on the School's website.

Donations received from 18 September to 30 November 2023 to the SOEN general fund be designated to the ANU Bandalang Studio in support of Indigenous Engineering design.

The ANU Bandalang Studio fund supports the studio's core activities. In particular, the Bandalang Residency program and the National Indigenous Engineering Winter School for Indigenous high school students. Both initiatives provide learning and professional opportunities to Indigenous researchers, practitioners and students.

Your support allows us to continue to offer these unique programs which have meaningful impact on Indigenous people's lives.
