You can give as an ANU staff member through our Workplace Giving program.
At ANU our values encourage us to be the best that we can be. They also encourage us to be of service to the community, the nation and the world. We achieve this everyday through the ground-breaking research we conduct and the high-calibre graduates we produce. One way to further support our community is to give to worthwhile causes through the ANU Workplace Giving program. The program allows ANU staff to make donations to ANU programs or external charities through fortnightly payroll deductions. Staff can choose to support any of the external charities listed below using the Workplace Giving Program Request form.
Why donate through workplace giving
There are two major benefits of Workplace Giving for you and your donation. Firstly, it makes tax time a lot easier as your donations can be taken out of your pre-tax salary giving you automatic tax relief and eliminating the need to keep receipts for your annual tax returns. Your Group Certificate will summarise the donations you have made during the year for your annual tax. Secondly, this way of donating means very little administration, advertising or fundraising costs for your charity-allowing more of your donation to go directly to the cause.
Did you know that ANU can receive tax deductible donations? Through the ANU Workplace Giving program you can support different projects across the University. A donation to ANU makes a powerful difference as 100 per cent of your donation goes towards the cause of your choice with none of your gift spent on administration costs.
Donations over $2 to ANU can support an area, research project, student scholarship, prize or professorial/chair, area or endowment fund of your choice. Browse our Support us page to see all your giving opportunities or call the Annual Giving Team on 6125 7813 to discuss other opportunities.
