ANU Networking Lunch with Professor Sally Wheeler

Alumni and friends are welcome to join Professor Sally Wheeler for an informal networking lunch. Sally will provide a brief update from the ANU campus, including on ANU international priorities, strategic engagement with global partners, and higher education developments in Australia.

  • A government issued photo ID (passport) is required for entry into the Embassy.  
  • The event will take place on Level 9.

Sally joined the University as the Dean of AU College of Law in early 2018. In 2020, she was named the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International Strategy), a role she held concurrently with her position as Dean. In 2022, Sally took up the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International & Corporate). In this role, Sally oversees the ANU North America Liaison Office which works closely to strengthen partnerships with universities, government, think-tanks, industry and our alumni in North America. 
 
Prior to taking up these positions at ANU, Sally was a Professor and Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research and Enterprise at Queen's University Belfast. She was elected to the Academy of Social Sciences and the Royal Irish Academy in 2011 and 2013, respectively. She became a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law in 2018, and in the 2017 New Years' Honours list Sally was awarded an OBE for services to higher education in Northern Ireland.
