Celebrate 75 years of ANU across 75 cities around the world!
Join fellow ANU alumni and friends for an evening of wine tasting and celebration in Amsterdam, as we honour the 75th anniversary of The Australian National University.
Hosted by alumni volunteer, Paul Hohnen (LLB (Hons) '74, BA '72), this celebration is a great opportunity to connect with alumni living and working in Amsterdam and the region and celebrate your memories of ANU.
Against the backdrop of the Vietnam war, the moon landing and the election of the Whitlam Labor government, Paul looks back on his time at ANU with the words of Dickens, reflecting that it was "... the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness" and recalling both time spent learning from various professors and time spent at the Union Bar.
As much as ANU has helped shape the lives of our alumni over the last 75 years, so too has our alumni community shaped the ANU.
Please note there is a limited number of free tickets available to ANU alumni only. The cost per person is 40 euro to be paid on entry once that number has been exceeded
