Tutoring keeps me connected

Since completing my Juris Doctor at ANU School of Law in 2020, I have been tutoring contract law at the University and mentoring students.

From the very first day that I started at ANU, I had a very good connection with the lecturers. They were very much interested in supporting you and helping you make the right decisions throughout your course. They help provide a framework where you can do clinics, get work experience, get good career advice and connect with local law firms. I got hired by Boettcher Law, where I currently work, thanks to a career website that ANU operates for its students.

At Boettcher Law, I deal with a lot of trade law and commercial law. Tutoring ANU students in these subjects is how I stay connected to the University, and a great way to help them understand how everything in this area works.

I feel proud to be part of a network of alumni who continue to engage with the University and its students; It was something I enjoyed so much when I started at ANU myself.
