Mr Paul Pretor

I have a particular interest in how professional staff at ANU can augment and support the renewed call for world class excellence across service areas as much as in ANU research and education. There seems to me in 2016 to be a serious opportunity for closing the gap between professional staff and the research and education mission of the university as it seeks to realise the vision asserted by the new VC and in ANU by 2020. I am passionate about ANU's national mission and share in the university's vision as Australia's national university, in terms of framing the university and its future.

I have broad professional and personal experience at various universities and institutions, currently at ANU since 2010, as an undergraduate and post-graduate in Arts and clinical sciences, a personal research background (in STEM) and have been a professional librarian for more than 10 years.
