Dr Jonathan Liljeblad

Jonathan Liljeblad is a Senior Lecturer in the ANU Law School. Since joining ANU in February 2019, he has served as a member of the editorial board for the Federal Law Review. He is currently responsible for the ANU College of Law course in Myanmar and its internships program. His research is in rule of law in developing countries, with case studies in human rights, indigenous rights, and environmental conservation. His field work in Southeast Asia is supported by various international aid organizations. Following his background, his policy interests are to help advance ANU's international strategies, support ANU's international academic and policy profile, further ANU's engagement with government and civil society organizations, and explore alternative student learning experiences outside the classroom.
