College of Health and Medicine Academic Staff Member Elections to Academic Board 

The membership term for the three current College of Health and Medicine Representatives on Academic Board is set to expire on 1 May 2024. 

On 18 March 2024 a call for nominations was circulated to all eligible college academic staff. Staff wishing to nominate to fill these vacancies were provided with details to submit their nomination by the nomination deadline Friday 5 April 2024. Candidates successfully appointed to these vacancies will commence as a member on Academic Board on 2 May for a 2 year term. 

At the close of the nomination period 5pm Friday 5 April, the following nominations were received: 

• Dr Md Rezanur Rahaman
• Associate Professor Anna Olsen 
• Associate Professor Aparna Lal
• Dr Nathan Emmerich

As there are more nominations than available vacancies an online ballot will be held and all eligible academic staff members are invited to vote. 

The voting poll opens on Tuesday 9 April 2024. All eligible voters will be sent a link to vote on this day. 

Voting closes on Friday 26 April 2024.
