2017 Phone Appeal

On Saturday 16 September, ANU commenced its annual phone appeal. Spanning six weeks, the student calling program gives the University's alumni community the opportunity to speak with students to share their personal stories, hear about what's happening at campus and to support The ANU Fund.

The 40-strong membership of the student calling program at ANU reflects our diverse and vibrant student population. Our callers hail from around the globe and are truly representative of the full student lifecycle. Together they all share one unique quality - bringing the same energy, curiosity and enthusiasm they have in the classroom into their conversations with alumni.

Flexible double degree (Law, Politics, Philosophy and Economics) student Georgie Quinn is one of several returning student callers.

"Last year I was lucky enough to be a caller on the ANU phone appeal and I was really impressed by the generosity of the alumni community. I think it's amazing what can be achieved by so many alumni getting involved and giving what they can. I'm really excited to be involved in the phone appeal again this year and I can't wait to tell alumni how gifts to The ANU Fund are having an impact here on campus." said Georgie.
