The 2020 Bradman Foundation Scholarship

This financial support is not administered by the University.


The purpose of the Bradman Scholarship is to support young female and male cricketers, including coaches and match officials, to excel in their tertiary and cricketing endeavours and assist them to develop into leaders in their communities.


Candidates must:

a) have passed their seventeenth birthday in the year of beginning the Scholarship;

b) be an Australian citizen;

c) have completed their secondary education at an Australian school to a level which
will satisfy entrance conditions to the university of their choice and have 3 years at
an Australian University remaining to complete an undergraduate degree (full-time).

d) demonstrates a level of participation in the sport of cricket. I.e. club player, coach,
umpire, Elite Pathways Program.

e) If shortlisted in the final three, be available for an interview with the Selection
Committee during April in Sydney. Date to be confirmed


Two scholarships are to be offered to an Australian female and a male undergraduate university students for 3 years maximum with $5,000 per annum value.

How to apply

The supporting documents should be submitted in the order below preferably via email having scanned all documents in a PDF, or hard copies posted using a fold back clip to hold them together and place all documents in one folder, manila style or plastic sleeve. Please do not bind together or place individual documents in separate protective sleeves. Original documents should not be sent. Please provide certified copies of all primary documents.
