The award is to support student research in Archaeology and Palaeoanthropology.

Eligibility

The award is available each year to a continuing ANU student who is:

(a) A domestic or international student;

(b) enrolled in archaeology or palaeoanthropology at Honours / Masters / PhD level.

Benefits

The value of the award is stated in your letter of offer. The award is paid in 1 instalment after the census date unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.

The recipient is responsible for making payment of all tuition fees by the prescribed date as set out by the University each session.  Recipients of this award are responsible for the costs of books, study materials, accommodation and all other costs of study.

How to apply

The application is submitted on the prescribed form, should consist of no more than 1000 words, applicants must include:

• Proposed itinerary;

• Short project proposal (as agreed with the project supervisor);

• Budget, clearly stating how the funds will be allocated (both itemised amounts and purpose); and

• HDR applicants must explain in their application why they require funding additional to that already available to them.
