Max Hawk Travelling Scholarship in the School of Art

Overview

The Scholarship is to assist a student who is enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program offered by the ANU School of Art, who has received approval for a period of study exchange at an overseas institution with which the School of Art has an approved exchange program, and who has demonstrated a high capacity for achievement in their chosen field of Arts practice.

Eligibility

The Scholarship shall be awarded to the applicant who:

  1. has an outstanding academic record in Arts and has demonstrated a high capacity for achievement in his or her chosen field of Arts practice;
  2. has made a strong case for the relevance of study at the host institution;
  3. demonstrates an aptitude for adapting to the particular cultural environment of the host institution; and
  4. demonstrates a capacity for maximizing the benefit both to the individual and the relationship between the two institutions.

 

Selection basis

  • merit of application;
  • the recommendation of the relevant Head of Workshop; and
  • applicant's academic record.

How to apply

Students who submit an application for an international exchange will be automatically considered this scholarship.
