Love Physics Bursary

Overview

Every year the Research School of Physics offers a Love Physics Bursary. This bursary will assist students who have been accepted into the Physics Honours specialisation and who originally come from regional and remote areas with the cost of their relocation to Canberra.
Funding for this Award has been provided by the late Emeritus Professor John Love. Professor Love established the Love Scholarship fund during his lifetime, with the first awards offered in 2015. Following his passing, Professor Love endowed the scholarships and a bursary in perpetuity with a generous bequest to ANU.

Eligibility

The Award is available each year to a prospective ANU student who:

  • is a domestic student; and
  • is currently living and studying outside the ACT; and
  • has received an offer of admission into the Physics Honours specialisation..

Benefits

Students will receive $2500 towards their relocation expenses to Canberra.

Applicants need to provide evidence of where their secondary school studies were undertaken.
