Each year the ANU Medical School may offer an award known as the Jessica King Scholarship with the aim of assisting an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student to undertake the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery program at the ANU.
Field of study
Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (8950XMCHD)
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who:
Is a domestic student; and
is a first year medical student enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery program; and
is of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; and
identifies as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; and
is accepted as such by the community in which they live, or formally lived.
There is no application as students are automatically considered based on them meeting the eligibility criteria or conditions prescribed under the Eligibility section.
