The Australian National University is pleased to offer the Jan Morgan Scholarship to prospective students.
The objective of the award is to support women studying STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) at the undergraduate level.
Funding for this award has been provided by Jan Morgan. As a young ANU Masters student, Jan benefited from a scholarship which enabled her to study at ANU and live on campus at University House. Having built a successful career as an international change management consultant, Jan is keen to encourage and support more women to undertake study and develop careers in STEM disciplines.
In creating this scholarship, Jan wishes to recognise and acknowledge the invaluable help given to her by the late Dr Thelma Hunter. Dr Thelma Hunter was a feminist political scientist, teacher, scholar and writer who spent most of her academic career at ANU.
