Friends of the School of Music Transition Award

Overview

The ANU School of Music in the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences offers The Friends of the School of Music Transition Award to assist School of Music graduates transition between formal study and a professional career in music.

The Friends of the School of Music is a non-profit association which aims to be a source of practical and financial support to students of the ANU School of Music. The Friends of the School of Music shares an investment with ANU in the Friends Endowment Project Fund within the University's Endowment for Excellence.

Eligibility

The award is available each year to an ANU student who has completed, within the last two calendar years as at the closing date for applications, the requirements for the award of a Bachelor with Honours, Master* or Doctoral degree in the School of Music.

 

* Please note, Master of Music is no longer being offered.

Benefits

The Award provides a one-off payment of $5,000.
