Dorothy Mayhew-Hirvonen Grant

Overview

The objective of the award is to provide financial support an ANU College of Law female student who is able to demonstrate educational disadvantage on the grounds of financial, physical or emotional need.

Funding for this award has been provided by the family of Dorothy Mayhew-Hirvonen in recognition of her love of the ANU and the time she spent there as a student.

Eligibility

The award is available each year to a current ANU student who:

(a)    is a female domestic student;

(b)    is enrolled in an undergraduate program offered by the ANU College of Law; and

(c)    is able to demonstrate educational disadvantage on the grounds of financial, physical or emotional need.

Benefits

The award is paid in one instalment upon acceptance of the award unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.

The application is submitted on the prescribed form.  Any requirement for supporting documentation will be stated on the application form and on this website.  The application and all supporting documentation (where applicable) must be submitted on, or prior to, the closing date published on this page.
