Dorothy Mayhew-Hirvonen Bursary

Overview

The objective of the Award is to support an ANU College of Law who identifies as a female student, and who is able to demonstrate educational disadvantage on the grounds of financial, physical or emotional hardship.
 
Funding for this Award has been provided by Dorothy Mayhew-Hirvonen in recognition of her love of the ANU and the time she spent there as a student.

Eligibility

The Award is available each year to a current ANU student who identifies as female and:
  • is a domestic student; and
  • is enrolled in Bachelor of Laws (Honours), whether undertaking as a single or flexible double degree, at the ANU College of Law; and
  • is able to demonstrate educational disadvantage on the grounds of financial, physical or emotional hardship.

Benefits

The value of the Award is $2,000. The Award is paid in a one-off instalment upon accepting the Award unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
