Overview
Each year the ANU College of Engineering, Computing and Cybernetics ('the College') may offer an award known as the Dickins Scholarship in Engineering ('the Award').
The objective of the Award is to encourage a high-performing Engineering Honours student's ongoing academic achievement.
Funding for this Award has been provided by Honorary Professor in Signal Processing Glenn Dickins, an ANU Alumnus.
Field of study
Eligibility
The award is available to a continuing ANU student who:
- is a domestic student; and
- is enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Engineering (Research and Development) (Honours) in a single or flexible degree, offered by the College; and
- is completing an Electronic and Communication Systems Major; and
- is experiencing financial or other disadvantages.
Benefits
The scholarship value is $5,000 per annum. The duration of the Award is for one year. The Award is paid in equal instalments after census date each semester unless otherwise stated in the letter of offer.
