Defence Science and Technology Group (DST) Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarship

Overview

Each year the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS), College of Science (CoS) and College of Health and Medicine (CHM) may offer the Defence Science and Technology (DST) Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarship.

The objective of the award is to encourage high-performing female students to continue studying in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields to improve the representation of female scientists and engineers.

Eligibility

TThe award is available to a current female ANU student who:
•    is an Australian Citizen;
•    is enrolled in an undergraduate CECS and/or CHM program (where the program or major is Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Earth Sciences),
•    has completed at least 48 units of study in the above mentioned degree;
•    has a GPA of 5.00 or above;
•    obtains and maintains an Australian Government security clearance at the Baseline level. (Successful scholarship applicants will need to obtain the clearance before the University awards them the payment associated with their scholarship).
