Overview

Each year the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science may award up to ten (10) scholarships, known as the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship.

The objectives of the award are to attract high performing domestic students who are otherwise hesitant to commit to study, due to the high financial cost of undertaking postgraduate coursework studies.

Funding for this award has been provided jointly by the College of Engineering and Computer Science and by the Australian National University.

 

Eligibility

The award is available each year to an ANU student who:

will commence a Graduate Diploma or Masters by coursework program within the College for the first time.

  • Is a domestic student
  • Is enrolled/enrolling in a Graduate Diploma or Masters by coursework program offered by the College to commence in the teaching period for which they are applying for this scholarship.
  • will commence a Graduate Diploma or Masters by coursework program within the College for the first time.

Benefits

The Successful recipient of this scholarship will receive a 25% Tuition Fee Reduction for the duration of their Engineering or Computing program. The award will be credited towards a  scholar's tuition fees once the scholar has enrolled each semester or session.

The duration of the award will be for the normal length of a Postgraduate coursework degree (up to two years).

The recipient is responsible for making payment of the balance of their tuition fees by the prescribed date as set out by the University each session. Recipients of this award are responsible for the costs of books, study materials, relocation costs, accommodation, and all other costs of study.

Applications are called for with a closing date as set by the College and advertised on the College Scholarships website and the ANU Scholarships website.
