Bassett Downs Honours Scholarship in Zoology

Overview

The Bassett Downs Endowment will provide funds for the Bassett Downs Scholarship for Zoology to support a research project based on field or lab-based work on native species in the fields of systematics, conservation biology, behavioural and community ecology.  Scholarships will be awarded every second year (next available in 2018).

Systematics, conservation biology, behavioural and community ecology.

Eligibility

The Scholarship shall be awarded to an applicant who:

  • has an exceptionally high level of competence in systematics, conservation biology, and/or behavioural and community ecology; and
  • is eligible to enrol into the honours Year of an undergraduate program offered by the Research School of Biology

Selection basis

  • the applicant's academic record; and
  • the applicant's high level of competence in wildlife, conservation ecology and/or animal behaviour as demonstrated through their work

How to apply

No formal application is required as eligible candidates will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
