Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services MAE Scholarship

Overview

The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Applied Epidemiology Scholarship aims to attract and support students undertaking a Master of Applied Epidemiology in the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health  at The Australian National University.

This objective of this Award is to  support an MAE Indigenous scholar placement with an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service.

Funding for this Award has been generously provided by Margaret Douglas and the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health.

Eligibility

  • A Domestic Indigenous candidate;
  • Enrolling full-time in a program of study for the degree of Master of Philosophy in Applied Epidemiology (MAE) at the Australian National University.

Benefits

  • Stipend to cover living costs;
  • Relocation allowance for students relocating to the location of their field placement to commence their research program;
  • Allowance for attending the final viva.
