ANU Programs - Additional Selection Criteria

In addition to submitting a Bachelor or Master degree application, the below programs have compulsory additional selection criteria.

 

Bachelor of Design

Entry to the Bachelor of Design is based on completion of the ACT or NSW HSC or (international) equivalent. An interview and portfolio assessment also form part of the admissions requirement. Once an application to the Bachelor degree has been lodged, applicants are required to register for an interview and upload a portfolio on the ANU School of Art and Design website.

 

Bachelor of Visual Arts

Entry to the Bachelor of Visual Arts is based on completion of the ACT or NSW HSC or (international) equivalent. An interview and portfolio assessment also form part of the admissions requirement. Once an application to the Bachelor degree has been lodged, applicants are required to register for an interview and upload a portfolio on the ANU School of Art and Design website.

 

Bachelor of Health Science

Entry to the Bachelor of Health Science is based on meeting the minimum selection rank requirement and successful assessment of suitability. Suitability is determined by the submission and assessment of the Bachelor of Health Science supplementary form.

For domestic applicants, fifteen places are reserved in every intake of the Bachelor of Health Science for students from a rural background with positions also available to applicants from an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background. Students applying to one or both of these categories are required to submit an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Declaration in support of their claim.

Applicants intending to commence a Bachelor of Health Science in 2021 should complete the following supplementary documents.

 

Bachelor of Music

Entry to the Bachelor of Music is based on meeting the minimum selection rank requirement. Entry to Performance stream of courses within the Bachelor of Music is by audition. Applicants wishing to enrol in Performance courses are advised to contact the ANU School of Music to arrange for an audition as soon as possible. E: schoolofmusic@anu.edu.au

Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) programs

Admission to the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) programs is based on meeting the minimum selection rank requirement, submission of the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) supplementary form and the receipt of two referee reports in support of your application.

Applicants intending to commence a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) in 2021 should complete the following supplementary document.

 

Master of Business Administration

Admission to the MBA and the MBA (Adv) programs is based on meeting the minimum GPA requirement, submission of the MBA CV template to demonstrated that work experience requirements have been met and the receipt of two referee reports in support of your application.

Applicants intending to commence a MBA in 2021 should complete the following CV template.

 

Master of Business Administration (Adv)

Admission to the MBA and the MBA (Adv) programs is based on meeting the minimum GPA requirement, submission of the MBA CV template to demonstrated that work experience requirements have been met and the receipt of two referee reports in support of your application.

Applicants intending to commence a MBA in 2021 should complete the following CV template.

 

Master of Professional Psychology

Admission to the Master of Professional Psychology is based on meeting the minimum GPA requirement with a Bachelor degree comprising an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited sequence of courses in Psychology. An interview and the receipt of 2 referee reports also form part of the admission requirement.

Applicants intending to commence the MPP in 2021 should have their two Referee report forms sent directly by their referees to: rsp.hdr.sa@anu.edu.au

Alternatively, if applicants are able to access the National referee system offered by Psychology Reference, they will use it to submit your referee reports. The Reference Request System allows applicants for Australian post-graduate programs in Psychology to apply for a reference from academic and /or professional referees and for these references to be shared with the nominated institutions.
