Overview
Main Wing at Ursula Hall houses 208 residents. It is a great supportive community with over 50 years of traditions. You have the chance to know all of your neighbours in a welcoming environment. That's life in a nutshell at Ursula Hall, affectionately known as Ursies.
Life at Ursula Hall leaves you free to make the most of your time at ANU, with the convenience of classes, libraries and other University resources literally on your doorstep, and three good meals served up each day.
You will become part of a vibrant, cross-disciplinary, student-driven culture which values and promotes high levels of engagement. You will be infected with a 'can do' attitude and before you know it, you'll be signing up for things you never thought you could or would do.
History
- Opened in October 1968 by Malcolm Fraser.
- Named after Saint Ursula.
- In 2010 a new wing of Ursula Hall, the Laurus Wing, was opened.

Rooms in the Main Wing are spacious and warm, and can be quickly decorated and filled with posters and cherished items to reflect each resident's taste. Residents share a floor (and split sex bathrooms) with 24 other students from around the world.
