Overview

The ANU Medical School Rural General Practice Prize is sponsored by Southern General Practice Network annually to a third year medical student who has demonstrated exceptional interest, aptitude and commitment to rural general practice. The Prize shall be awarded each year, to the student who, in that year was enrolled in Year Four of the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery Program; completed a rural term or year in South East NSW in Year 3; has been nominated by their rural GP supervisor as having exceptional interest, aptitude and commitment to rural general practice; and has been further assessed by the Selection Committee.
