2020 Key Dates - Remote Participation

** Reminder: 11:59 pm (AEDT), 2 March is the last day for remote study students to enrol in courses via ISIS. Any enrolment changes after this date including adding and/or dropping courses can be arranged by submitting an Application for Enrolment Change form to your Academic College (contact details provided below).

If you are a student affected by the coronavirus and travel restrictions, these are your key dates for Semester 1 2020.

The below dates are correct at the time of publication. Please make sure to check back on this page for the most up to date information.

24: Semester 1 Classes begin

*2 : Last day to add Semester 1 courses on ISIS


       Note: Any course enrolments after 11:59 pm (AEDT)

       on this date such as adding and/or dropping courses

       can be arranged by submitting an 

       Application for Enrolment Change form to your Academic College.


2: Remote participation course list finalised


 9: Canberra Day - Public Holiday


*13: Last day to renew Education Access Plans (EAPs) and

        Special (Alternative) Exam Arrangements for mid-semester exams


*31: Semester 1 Census Date 


        Note: This is your last day to drop a course without any

        financial and academic penalty. These courses will not

        appear on your academic transcript. 


        Any courses dropped from 1 April to 3 June will be listed on your

        transcript as 'WD' (withdrawn without failure) grade.

        Semester 2 and Winter Session

1: Reconciliation Day - Public Holiday 


*3: For students affected by international travel restrictions, this is your

      last day to withdraw from courses. 


      Note: This will not incur any academic or financial penalty.


      Any courses dropped before 11:59 pm (AEDT) on 3 June

      will be listed on your academic transcript as a

      'WD' (withdrawn without failure) grade. Please note, you

      cannot drop a course after this date.  


      Any paid course fees will be credited back into your student

      account. You may arrange to have your fees refunded back to

      your bank account by completing an Application for Fee Refund.
