If you are a student affected by the coronavirus and travel restrictions, these are your key dates for Semester 1 2020.

The below dates are correct at the time of publication. Please make sure to check back on this page for the most up to date information.

24: Semester 1 Classes begin

       Note: Any course enrolments after 11:59 pm (AEST)

       on this date such as adding and/or dropping courses

       can be arranged by submitting an 

       Application for Enrolment Change form to your Academic College.

 

2: Remote participation course list finalised

 

9: Canberra Day - Public Holiday

 

*13: Last day to renew Education Access Plans (EAPs) and

        Special (Alternative) Exam Arrangements for mid-semester exams

      For students impacted by the international travel restrictions, this is

      your last day to: 

  • Drop a course without any academic penalty. Any courses dropped by Census Date will not appear on your academic transcript. 
  • Drop a course without any financial penalty. Any paid course fees will be credited back into your student account. You may arrange to have your fees refunded back to your bank account by completing an Application for Fee Refund. For more information, please visit this page.

1: Reconciliation Day - Public Holiday 

 

8: Queen's Birthday - Public Holiday 

 

10: For students affected by the international travel restrictions, this is

      your last day to: 

  • Drop a course without failure. Dropped courses will show up as a 'WD' grade on your academic transcript. This will not affect your Grade Point Average (GPA). 
  • Drop a course without any financial penalty. Any paid course fees will be credited back into your student account. You may arrange to have your fees refunded back to your bank account by completing an Application for Fee Refund. For more information, please visit this page.

11: Exam period (ends 27 June)
