The staff at the Respectful Relationships Unit (RRU) are specialists in supporting all areas of the university to plan and implement strategies that prevent sexual violence. This includes both primary and secondary prevention. Primary prevention is about building whole-of-population initiatives that address the drivers of sexual violence, such as sexist and heteronormative culture. Secondary prevention targets people who are at risk of experiencing or using violence.
The RRU can work with you to draw on existing, evidence-based culture change frameworks to plan and implement an approach to sexual violence prevention specific to your context or community. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange an initial consultation meeting with the RRU team.
