A few tips and tricks to make your video
Before you record:
Do some test runs to see how your video looks and the video volume sounds ok.
Make sure the video is landscape.
Find a quiet room, preferably indoors to avoid any wind sounds and other noise.
Nice lighting - perhaps by a window for some natural light? However, if the weather is all over the place (sunny, then cloudy, then sunny again, etc) it might be best to film in a room with good lighting. This allows the video to have even lighting throughout.
Make sure your background is clean and clear of any personal items you don't want to show e.g. laundry, family photos, etc.
Keep yourself in the centre of the frame.
Speak at a normal, conversational pace.
Look at the camera when you are talking, but you can have a script on a screen to refer to.
