Ms Tess Snowball

SFHEA, BA (Swinburne), GDip BIT (Swinburne), MEd (Distinction) (UOW)

Tess has over 27 years' experience teaching, 18 years of those in higher education including as an academic, a learning adviser and in her current role as Manager of the Academic Skills and Learning Centre. Her teaching experience has involved designing, delivering and evaluating teaching in Information Technology, Marketing and academic literacies in a variety of contexts. Additionally, Tess has a keen interest, and extensive background in, a range of student support areas particularly around transitioning to university. Tess is a member of the Australian National University's Academic Board as a representative of professional staff. She takes a strong interest in communities of practice, collegiality and professional development and is a representative of the ACT Branches of the Association for Academic Language and Learning and the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia.
