Treasures from the university archives

30 May 2014

Most people don’t know it, but ANU has a large collection of historic documents, photographs, maps and films. The University archives form a record of the material and oral history of the university, while other collections include the Pacific Research Archives, the National AIDS Archive Collection and the business and labour archives of the Noel Butlin Archives Centre. These support research in many disciplines at ANU and other universities around the world.

A new exhibition showcases a choice selection of these in the Menzies Library this year. The exhibition opens Friday 6th of June from 3:00 pm and runs until the 29th of August. ANU students doing research may access items from the Archives; visit the archive page for more information.
